The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a poignant and heartbreaking story set during World War II. It follows Bruno, the eight-year-old son of a Nazi commandant, who moves with his family to a house near a concentration camp. Feeling lonely, Bruno wanders to the camp’s fence, where he meets and befriends Shmuel, a Jewish boy imprisoned inside.
